New York City Research Improvement Networking Group (NYC RING)

The New York City Research and Improvement Networking Group (NYC RING), is a practice-based research network (PBRN) supported by the Department of Family and Social Medicine and the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. Actively involving primary care practices in all research process phases enhances the relevance and quality of research while significantly improving the translation of results into patient care. By building relationships, sharing resources, and engaging our community, NYC RING aims to provide researchers and practices with the tools they need to effectively investigate clinical questions that will have a real impact on the health of individuals, families, and communities here in the Bronx. At the core of NYC RING is our mission to advance health equity by supporting the research that is most important and relevant to our community. With a growing network of over 35 partner practices throughout the Bronx and lower Westchester, we envision a future where those who have been historically excluded from academic research are embedded in the process of informing, guiding, leading, and ultimately benefiting from it.
